Dog Training

Ethical, Reward-Based Dog Training You Can Trust

As a certified and welfare-focused dog trainer, my approach is built on compassion, empathy, and modern science. I help dogs and their guardians build stronger, happier relationships through positive, ethical, and reward-based methods—never fear, pain, or intimidation.

My training style centres on understanding who your dog is as an individual. Every dog has their own needs, emotions, learning style, and challenges, and my role is to support both of you with techniques rooted in kindness, clarity, and proven behavioural science.

My Professional Accreditations

PACT (Professional Association of Canine Trainers) Certified

Being a PACT-certified trainer means I’ve undergone rigorous, assessed, practical training that meets high standards for ethical, welfare-based teaching. PACT emphasises force-free methods, clear communication, and modern understanding of canine behaviour.
It also ensures that the training I provide is:

  • Evidence-based and welfare first

  • Kind, reward-centred, and fear-free

  • Transparent, professional, and accountable

PACT trainers commit to ongoing professional development, meaning my skills stay current with the latest scientific research and best practice.

ABTC Registered (Animal Behaviour and Training Council)

As part of the ABTC framework, I work under nationally recognised standards for animal training and behaviour modification.
ABTC accreditation ensures that I:

  • Have met strict competency criteria for humane, ethical dog training

  • Use methods grounded firmly in learning theory and canine welfare

  • Remain accountable to a professional body committed to improving national standards

  • Provide training that is fair, effective, and respects each dog’s emotional wellbeing

For dog owners, ABTC registration is reassurance that you’re working with a trainer who has been vetted, assessed, and approved by the UK’s leading authority on ethical training and behaviour care.
